Eleonora Fisco is a joint PhD candidate in Literature, Arts, and Media: the Transcodification at the University of L’Aquila (IT) and the University of Lausanne (CH). In 2024, she was a visiting researcher at the University of Chicago, where she worked on a performance practice as research project focused on the translation of performance poetry. She has published several articles on spoken word poetry and the monograph The Aesthetic Response in Poetry Slam. Frame Analysis and Phenomenology of Performance (Mille Gru, 2022). Her research interests include the history and publishing formats of oral poetry, as well as the intersections between artistic and academic research.

She directs the book series Quaderni Slam for Mille Gru Editions.
